In the wine tavern Am Holztor, there are hearty dishes made from fresh ingredients. You can choose from more than 30 regional wines from five winemaker partners. If you're in the mood for a beer, four types on tap are available.
The cozy guest room offers 40 seats, and an additional 20 can be found on the terrace in front of the house. A visit between Holzturm and Holztor can be nicely combined with a walk along the Rhine.
The history as an inn dates back to 1885: back then, the “Restauration Rudolph Engst” opened here. Later, the establishment was called “Schifferbörse” and “Rheinperle” before it assumed its current name.
