For nine days, from September 26 to October 4, the winemakers of Ingelheim will present their latest and best vintages at the Red Wine Festival in the unique setting of the Burgkirchen area. Here, you can expect a variety of exquisite wines that will delight your palate.

It counts among the most beautiful wine festivals in Rheinhessen. Since 2014, this has been official, as the seal “Awarded Wine Festival” is only granted by Rheinhessenwein e.V. to outstanding wine festivals that meet the high standards for wine offerings, food, and the quality of stay.

As in the previous year, there will once again be a “Piffche-Pass” that can be redeemed at various wine stands. The pass, which can be purchased at the Red Wine Fountain of the Ingelheim Vinothek and in advance at the Ingelheim Tourist Information, offers the opportunity to get to know various wineries and make one or two new discoveries. To simplify the organization and processing, this year each participating winery will have a personal favorite wine available for users of the “Piffche-Pass.” The “Schoppe-Kärtsche” will also be featured at the Red Wine Festival 2026. With the stamp card, you can get ten Schoppen at the Red Wine Fountain for a total of 40 euros during the nine festival days.

The Red Wine Fountain, operated by the Ingelheim Vinothek, once again serves as a showcase for Ingelheim wines and invites you to taste and discover. A wide range of offerings from the 25 Vinotheken wineries will be available, from Secco to white wine, from rosé to excellent Ingelheim red wine. It is definitely worth making a stop at the wine stand of the Vinothek.
