Fola Dada and her trio play songs about freedom, love, humanity, and spice the concert with texts from writers including Mascha Kaleko. Jazz, soul, pop in original and covered compositions.

Amidst all the very close and intimate sounds, electronic elements occasionally emerge, and the joy of performing from the artists leaps over to the audience. An evening concert filled with surprises and depth.

When Fola is not performing as a solo artist, she is touring with the cult band Hattler or the SWR Big Band and is currently shining in the Nina Simone Story. The exceptional singer was awarded the German Jazz Prize in 2022, and her warm voice possesses exactly what we need - soul.

Joining her is Ulf Kleiner on keys, who seems to be a regular guest at KulturGUT. With Caro Trischler, DePhazz, Fola Dada, or last year at the Montreux Jazz Festival with legend Chaka Khan; Ulf enchants with his playing and sounds.
And also, Tommy Baldu drums his fingers raw. He is on tour with Daniel Stelter, Stephanie Neigel, or Rofofofo and produces international and national artists. On the drums, he is a true storyteller.
