Römerfest Alzey

In the beautiful setting of Alzey Castle, 130 performers present the civil life of the Romans with great attention to detail. There are numerous spectacular program highlights such as gladiator fights, horse riders from Rome, shooting demonstrations, birds of prey displays, formations, and more. In the interactive activities for children, the techniques of the Romans can be discovered and tried out. Roman vendors as well as beverages and food invite visitors to browse and enjoy on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Tickets for the Roman Festival are available in advance and at the box office.
