Zum Nachtisch Museum: Bunte Kassetten

The Romans had a colorful life – not just in color films. High-quality colors were available in everyday life and were used, among other things, for interior decoration. The lecture sheds light on colors in Roman everyday spaces. It shows how wall painting can be reconstructed based on painted wall fragments.

On one Tuesday of each month, museum staff present selected cultural and natural historical pieces from the collections during the lunch break.
