Winery Becker

For dinner, for the special occasion or on an ordinary day, a good wine should never be missing. But where should it come from and for a fair price.

With care and great commitment, we cultivate the vineyards and produce our wines as a sideline. The result are wines that the winemaker himself likes to taste and enjoy in-house. This way a successful product comes into the bottle and is sold. At the same time it offers us the opportunity to try out something new.

The classics "Grauer Burgunder" (Pinot Gris) and "Riesling" stand out in our white wine assortment. In our red wines, we have the typical varieties of Rheinhessen "Dornfelder" and "Regent" in cultivation. In our new system, we do not only rely on Reinhessen classics, but also go new ways with the "Carbernet Sauvignon". As rosé wine we offer a "Portugieser Rosé" and a "Rotling" which is exceptional for Rheinhessen.

Enjoy the thrilling variety, directly from the winegrower. Get to know our wines in our winery in Nieder-Olm.

On the estate German and English are spoken.

Nieder-Olmer Klosterberg

Nieder-Olmer Klosterberg

Of archbishops, literati and swingers

The name of the camp is based on a settlement of the Mainz monastery. Already in the early Middle Ages, Nieder-Olm belonged to the archbishop of Mainz. The Klosterberg site flanks Nieder-Olm (elevated to town status in 2006). Hikers and panorama-seekers are recommended to take the slope towards Zornheimer Berg. At several vantage points with benches and a vineyard swing you have a great view over the Selz valley. The Wilhelm Holzamer Literature Trail also runs through the middle of the single vineyard. The writer (1870-1907) recorded village life in novels and painted impressionistic landscapes.
