Since 1992, Ursula and Tilo Hochthurn have been managing the Mediterranean-style winery Gerharz-Hochthurn in Gau-Algesheim. The modern-oriented farm now manages about 20 ha of vineyards in the fourth generation. The vines grow in Gau-Algesheim, Ingelheim and Horrweiler. MC Edition is the premium line of the Zehe-Claus winery. The winemakers Marcus Clauß and Birgit Zehe-Clauß run the winery in Mainz. Their philosophy is: "careful to the nature, characterized by the origin, with the handwriting of the winegrower, for passion and pleasure." Since 2010, the winery has been converted to organic management. For years, the wines have been awarded national and international awards. MC Riesling dry is z. B. awarded annually since 2001 by Mundus Vini.
