The Adlerdenkmal on the Mühlberg is a war memorial (memorial for the fallen) from World War I.
It was presumably inaugurated during the war (in the summer of 1915), which was unusual for that time. The construction method - built from field stones - also makes the Adlerdenkmal a unique feature.
