E-bike charging stations with hosts

The municipalities of the Rheinhessen-Nahe region, together with Rheinhessen-Touristik GmbH and Naheland-Touristik GmbH, have launched the climate protection campaign "Recharge your bike instead of car".

The participating restaurants and businesses offer their guests free of charge during shopping, a business meeting or a stay in the company. Please contact your host. There are also other public charging stations .

The aim of the campaign is to provide citizens, tourists and holidaymakers in the region with a climate-friendly alternative to the car. In comparison: A car generates about 170 g / km of CO2 depending on its size and type. An e-bike is here at about 6g / km in the German electricity mix.
