Adam Rafferty represents the fingerstyle guitar at its highest perfection. A smile on his face, groove in his body, and highly concentrated enthusiasm are his trademarks.

In New York, he is regarded as a shooting star of the jazz scene, and he has become known in the "fingerstyle community" especially for his refined instrumental arrangements of Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson songs. Millions of views on his YouTube channel reflect the steadily growing popularity of the sympathetic musician. As a teenager, Adam Rafferty – born and raised in Harlem – got to know New York from its rough side. At 12, he played hard rock, was cheated out of his payment for his first gig at 15, landed on a gold record as a rapper at 18, and played his way through Manhattan's subway stations to renowned jazz clubs. Swing and groove led him around the world on tours with Dr. Lonnie Smith, the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band, and The Bennie Wallace Quartet.

For several years now, he has been celebrating great successes as a fingerstyle soloist and is invited to the most important guitar festivals worldwide. And of course, Adam has already been a guest several times in the secret capital of guitar music - Bechtolsheim :)
