Alsheimer Winter-Weinwanderung: Bei Feuerschein und Glühwein durch die Hohlwege

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Hohlwegegruppe Alsheim and the Ortsgemeinde Alsheim invite young and old to the traditional Alsheimer Winter Wine Hike. The event starts at 6:00 PM, with a meeting point at 5:30 PM at the Old Press House.

The approximately four-kilometer-long path illuminated by torches leads through the Alsheimer Hohlwege on a section of the new Hiwweltour, which will be officially opened in April 2026. From the heights, there is an impressive view of the sea of lights in the Rhine Valley up to the Odenwald.

Along the way, the Förderverein Alsheimer Hohlwege provides enjoyable breaks with the sale of wine and mulled wine. The start and end point of the hike is the romantically illuminated “Old Press House”, where mulled wine and non-alcoholic punch (please bring your own cup) will be offered even before the start. After the hike, a hearty snack awaits guests there as well.

During the cozy conclusion by the warm campfire, the impressions of the atmospheric winter hike can be reminisced in a sociable gathering.

The participation costs 3 euros per person, children are free. A torch to carry is available for 3 euros each.
