Apéro – Kabarett zur blauen Stunde

In a relaxed atmosphere, you can discover the current exhibition while enjoying a cocktail and exchanging ideas with other visitors. Starting at 7:30 PM, a small program awaits you – such as a lecture, a reading, music, or the presentation of an archive exhibit. The formats change, anything is possible.

About the well-being and woe of the "Green Fairy" with archive director Martina Habner-Keiffenheim Absinthe: loved, hated, consumed. Many texts, but also works of art history know nothing of the enjoyment of drinking, but tell of loneliness, bleakness, or even severe physical harm. So, what’s the story behind this "magical" drink, which was banned in many European countries at the beginning of the 20th century and has recently – legally – become a trendy drink with cult status?

The cabaret bar is open and offers snacks and beverages.
