Lonesome Andy sounds like he has sprung straight from the swamps of the Mississippi. His style can be placed somewhere between Delta Blues and New Orleans Jazz, grooving like an old steam locomotive! Voodoo rhythms, old swing numbers, and the ever-present blues—sometimes desperate, sometimes with a wink—provide entertaining and extremely danceable enjoyment. He utilizes ancient metal resonator guitars, harmonica, percussion with both feet, and not least, an all-pervading blues voice.

Lonesome Andy is a true master of his craft, effortlessly mastering bottleneck playing, highly complex ragtime arrangements, and traditional country-blues guitar techniques, as well as the harmonica. The “Bluesman” born in Bavaria in 1984 demonstrates the healing power of the blues, allowing some soul pain to disappear for a while.
