Führung im Museum Schlosspark: Amalie mit Musik

Amalie was an extraordinary woman who had to leave the court not only due to an unfulfilled love but also left a lasting mark in Bad Kreuznach as an art collector, entrepreneur, and builder. With confidence, courage, and initiative, she laid the foundation for today’s Schlosspark and had a lasting influence on the city's history. She lived well-equipped in Frankfurt but maintained a country estate by the Nahe, among other properties. The Hundheimer Hof, which had been used as a townhouse for more than 200 years, was also part of her real estate holdings. She was simultaneously an art patron, built up a large collection of paintings, and knew how to combine conversation and music in her salon.
