Kunstinstallation GAIA: „Beyond the rim of the starlight“ - Orgelkonzert

"The universe, endless expanses..." – who doesn't remember this line from the beginning of the series "Starship Enterprise"? Movies and series like "Space Patrol Orion," 2001 – A Space Odyssey, "Star Trek," "Star Wars," and "Interstellar" exert an immense fascination. This is inextricably linked to the iconic music created by composers like John Williams and Hans Zimmer.
On May 13 at 8:01 p.m., cantor Hartmut Müller will play, so to speak, the greatest hits of science fiction film music on the Beckerath organ. Also included in the program are the well-known "Clair de lune" by Claude Debussy in an arrangement by star organist Anna Lapwood, as well as "Etoile de soir" by Louis Vièrne. Look forward to an intergalactically unforgettable evening under the Gaia installation in St. Nicholas Church – with some surprises included!
