Actress Gesine Cukrowski has been captivating audiences for decades in film, TV, and theater roles (including Tatort, Traumschiff)

Now she is also successful with her book "Sorry Tarzan, I Save Myself".
Using the example of female role clichés in film and television, Cukrowski provides exciting insights into how the male gaze profoundly influences our role assignments. She illustrates how important it is to develop a sensitivity to these seemingly obvious matters.
Enriched with numerous personal experiences and anecdotes, she shows us: Women are rewriting the script. In front of the camera, behind it, and in the midst of society.
Gesine Cukrowski will read from her book and discuss with journalist Steffi Radke about age discrimination in the film industry and her fight for a new image of women.
