Museumscafé: "Wer macht den Dreck weg?"

The division of so-called care work, that is, unpaid caregiving, housework, and educational work on one hand and paid or gainful employment on the other, is a central issue of gender equality.
Especially cleaning often becomes a point of discussion and not infrequently a point of contention. What significance did cleaning have in the past in various social constellations? Who cleans what, where, and where not? We want to address these questions from historical as well as sociological perspectives within the framework of the museum café.
