Scheu time - Pre-opening und Jahresempfang der Stadt Alzey

The annual reception 2026 of the city of Alzey will take place on Thursday, May 7th, from 7 PM in the square behind the Alzeyer Stadthalle. Doors will open at 6 PM. Mayor Jung warmly invites the citizens to this event in anticipation of the Scheu Time.

The annual reception, which traditionally features the awards ceremony for deserving citizens of Alzey, will this year also serve as the kickoff event for the popular wine festival "Scheu Time," taking place from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th.

After brief insights into current developments and events in the city, Mayor Steffen Jung will present the city’s honorary pins to deserving citizens. Following this, the annual reception will offer another opportunity for good conversations and personal encounters in the shade of the Stadthalle.

All citizens of Alzey are warmly invited to the annual reception of the city of Alzey. "I would be pleased to welcome as many Alzey residents as possible in the Stadthallenplatz.
