Hof Iben invites you to an extraordinary guest tour that uniquely combines history, nature, and enjoyment. At the center of it all is the first High Gothic church on German soil – a structure designed by the best architect of its time, comparable in its cultural impact to the Elbphilharmonie or the Sydney Opera House. Built by the finest master builders of the Middle Ages, the Templar Chapel is a masterpiece of High Gothic architecture and a testament to the mysterious history of the Templar Order, which once commissioned Hof Iben.

The tour continues to a nearby quarry, whose 280-million-year-old stones were once used in the construction of the chapel. While on a small hike, guests can enjoy the impressive views of the Appelbachtal and Hof Iben and learn fascinating facts about the geological history of the region.

The tour concludes with a sparkling wine tasting, where participants learn about the transformation of viticulture in the Appelbachtal. An experience for all senses that harmoniously unites history, nature, and enjoyment.

Cost: 25.00 €/person.

Registration required with Frank Schmidt.
