Enjoy hiking through the fruit blossom sea

From forests, vineyards and pastures lined paths, the view of the vastness of the Rhine Valley to the Taunus - the predicate hiking trail "Hiwweltour Bismarckturm" near Ingelheim does not spare with charm. Especially for flowering in spring, the approximately 10 km long circular walk through orchards and orchards meadows is a magical mood.

Right at the beginning of the Bismarck tower offers a wonderful panoramic view of Ingelheim and the Rhine Valley with Rheingau and Taunushöhen. From the tower you continue to the nearby slope, from where the path meanders idyllically through the forest. Here, the next magnificent panorama opens into the Rheingau. In gentle up and down, through orchards and vineyards, the Hiwweltour reaches the Welzbachtal, where once used many mills, the power of water. Afterwards, the "table of wine" awaits the hikers for a picnic at an ideal place, which rewards the ascent with a wonderful view over the Rhine-Hessian hill country. Another surprise awaits you on the plateau: a short path leads to the geoecological trail, which is particularly interesting for families, and draws its attention to the salamander holes. Then it's almost through the species-rich forest of the nature reserve Gau-Algesheimer Kopf, in the ancient oak trees provide a touch of German primeval forest.

The Rheinhessen Touristik offers a package with two nights, a stop in the Rheinhessen-EXCELLENT wine shop of the Wasem vineyard and a 3-course menu from € 169.00 per person.
