Our winery is a family business, which already operates in the 5th generation of wine growing. We combine this long tradition of wine production with modern ideas. We work with traditional and modern methods, always to the best of our wines. We attach great importance to the varietal vinification of our wines. Our winery cultivates an approximately 18ha large vineyard, which extends, inter alia, through the known locations Flonheimer Bingerberg, Flonheimer Rotenpfad or Guntersblumer St. Julianne fountain. Newly built in 2011, our...

The DLG-recommended Strubel-Roos winery and the associated country hotel are built on historical grounds in Flonheim: In the 12th century there was an Augustinian monastery. On the 2.5m wide monastery foundations today the red and white wine cellars can be found. It has been proven that the family already lived and worked there in the 17th century. 23 different grape varieties are grown here, perfectly adapted to soil and location. In the vineyards alreay, care is taken to reduce yields and improve quality by cutting and pruning....

Artisanal and organic viticulture as well as a traditional winemaking as basis for characterful wines of highest quality. Gault Millau 2016: "Flonheim tastes like Flonheim! Also in the year 2014: The estate wines are miles away from mainstream and convince by substance and juiciness, just as well as the crisp Scheurebe or the Silvaner, the honest one. With his Flonheimer Riesling Patrick Kampf shows so much profile that we immediately want to taste the more mature wines he created".

The Espenhof is a wonderful liaison of winery, country hotel and wine restaurant in the heart of the Rheinhessische Schweiz. The Espenschied family operates this small idyll with a lot of heart and hand: here you can simply eat, drink and sleep or even meet in a special atmosphere or celebrate in the big sandstone barn! Grown and not made! Wine must taste like it is and not like it could be. We can only work with what nature gives us. We live with it. Invent something? We can not do that. Add something? We don't. No...

The Peth winery, which is run by Wolfgang and son René, lies in Flörsheim-Dalsheim, in the southern part of Rheinhessen. On the predominantly loess and limestone embossed soils of this region, which is called Wonnegau, wines full of character are produced. Manual yield reduction in the vineyard, a long time on the yeast in the cellar and the parcel-wise vinification of individual vineyards, both in stainless steel tank and in barrique barrel, distinguish this winery. Opening hours of the wine shop...

Our winery Kilianshof is located on the outskirts of Bodenheim, about 10 km south of Mainz. Spoiled by the mild climate of Rheinhessen, 9 hectares are cultivated. The different soils, such as fertile loess, calcareous loam and mineral Tonmergel, provide optimal conditions for characterful, versatile wines. Simply typical for Rheinhessen! Our ancestor Simon Josef Kilian was it who named the winery. The Kilianshof was originally a typical mixed farm with viticulture, livestock and agriculture. However, Heinz, a senior partner,...
