The Scherner-Kleinhanß winery in Flörsheim-Dalsheim has been family-owned since 1726. The farm buildings are all listed buildings. On 11.5 hectares, the Scherner-Kleinhanß winery grows mainly traditional grape varieties in a near-natural cultivation method. The wines are preferably vinified dry. With low yields, selective hand harvesting and gentle working methods in the cellar, Klaus Scherner meets a high level of quality. Following his philosophy of preserving as much as possible of the soil and grape variety in the wine, he uses the different soil types to produce different mineral wines.
