Those who know the flute only as an orchestral or ensemble instrument can look forward to a surprising journey of discovery this evening. Olga Reiser herself is a big fan of her own instrument, and as such, she brings out the solo qualities of the flute. In her program "Flute Tales," she weaves together multiple tracks of her flute playing with the help of a loop station, combining them with rhythmic "beatboxing" and jazz elements, exploring new expressive possibilities. Thus, at this concert, not only the entire flute family from piccolo to alto flute will be in use, but also a digital alarm clock and other electronic devices. In addition to the Menuet No. 2 in G minor by Johann Sebastian Bach, contemporary pieces by Ian Clarke, Greg Pattillo, or Tilmann Dehnhard, as well as original compositions and improvisations, will be performed. An evening full of curiosity, energy, and musical experimentation.
