Wine and Sekt jelly

This is always astonishing among the winemakers in Rheinhessen: this desire to try new things and reinterpret traditions.

Now, when it comes to the wine jelly, we have taken out the recipes of our grandparents on one hand, but also brought in the needs of the gourmets of our time on the other hand. The two wine jellies from Scheurebe and Portugieser grapes and the sparkling wine jelly Rosè from Pinot Noir were obtained in a very gentle cooking process. This ensures that the natural fruit flavors of the wines in the jelly are preserved. The sparkling wine jelly was additionally refined with a good dash of redcurrant liqueur.

The jellies taste good solo, but also accompany many good dishes starting with breakfast, where they cause a smart and bright start into the day on a breakfast sandwich. During a snack, our jellies are perfectly placed on a crispy baguette with fresh salad. At the festive table, they have their classic role as turkey breast, roast beef or venison. And for the small hunger, the red wine jelly is a perfect partner for baked Camembert.
