In the midst of the idyllic hilly landscape of Rheinhessen, just below the Kloppberg surrounded by vineyards, lies the impressive Winter winery. The vines of the family vineyard have been there since the 17th century, predominantly on calcareous soils around Dittelsheim, producing delicate, finesse wines with soul and personality. In 2013, the 20-hectare winery by Stefan Winter became a member of the internationally recognized association of German predicate wineries (VDP). Since 2004, he has been a member of the dynamic Rhineland-based winegrowing association Message in a Bottle and an active member of the German Weinelf. To emphasize each vineyard individually is the high demand that the winery Winter places itself and implements with the cultivation of classical grape varieties such as Riesling and Pinot. Precise and meticulous craftsmanship produces straight-lined wines with a traditionally moderate alcohol content and vintage-style expression.
