
The museum offers insights into the life of the author who was born in Bingen in 1868. You can also see his writing desk, part of his bequest libary, examples of different book designs and editions as well as foreign language translations of George´s works and several sculptures.

The church of this relatively rare religious community in the area was inaugurated in 1890 after only six months of construction.

The Schanzenhütte is located in the middle of the Weinolsheim vineyards. From here, you have a wonderful view of the Petersberg and Donnersberg mountains. The covered hut offers shelter if the weather is not so good. You can enjoy the sun and simply relax on the vineyard loungers. The cross vault of the former winegrowers' farm is used in the Augenwaide as a sales room for flowers and decorations. The origin of the typical Rhine-Hessian vaults dates back to the early 19th century. In the course of secularisation, during which church properties, among other things, were nationalised, farm animals moved into cross-vaulted cellars for the first time. Through the door behind the altar of the impressive cross-shaped hall from 1775, one enters the medieval tower, which once formed the chancel of the predecessor building. From there, a modern staircase leads up to the pulpit through the former east window. The church is the oldest building in the town. There was originally a wooden basilica here, which was mentioned as early as the 9th century, followed by a stone building from the 13th century. The choir with sacristy visible today dates from 1492 and the tower was built around 1520 as a defensive tower. The nave was expanded into three naves in 1911 based on Gothic styles.

The Trinity Church on Worms' market square is a "Reformation Memorial Church" that recalls the beginnings of the Reformation in Worms. The foundation stone was laid on 31 July 1709 and the church was consecrated sixteen years later. Largely destroyed during the nights of bombing in February and March 1945, it was rebuilt by Bauhaus architect Otto Bartning from 1955 to 1959. The Rohrwiesen biotope can be seen from far away on the Hiwweltour Zornheimer Berg. The many species in the biotope welcome hikers with an intensive natural background noise, which only decreases when the Hiwweltour passes into the vineyards.
