Built in the 14th century. The lords of Kriegsheim built this building, which is probably the oldest preserved residential building in the municipality. In the 16th century, the residential tower belonged half to the Counts of Leiningen-Hartenberg and half to those of Rodenstein. The three-storey building radiates a certain security and tranquillity, which the observer still feels today. The residential tower is privately owned. The existence of the Protestant church in Dorn-Dürkheim can be reliably traced back to 1245, although the original building was probably constructed almost 400 years earlier. The current building dates mainly from 1618. The church building is a rectangular hall structure and some of the choir walls are still Gothic. Particularly impressive is the originally free-standing tower on the north side, which brings a piece of history to life with its embrasures – without any division into floors.

The former Rheingräflich von Salmsche court pharmacy was founded in 1728. The privilege to run a pharmacy was granted by the Raugraf von Salm to court pharmacist Friess. In 1790, the pharmacy was taken over by Dietrich Christ Dassel. The building was originally a baroque plaster construction and was renovated in a Gründerzeit style in 1886. Today, the pharmacy is owned by the Hohe family.

The high altar of the Barock church includes a wonderful figure of Mary made of Lime-wood which was made along the Oberrhein about 1470. It probably comes from the previous building which, in the Middle Ages, was a pilgrims hospital along the Jakobsweg.
