For over seven years, photographer and extreme climber Heinz Zak traveled to capture his mountain homeland of Tyrol in extraordinary images. Few have experienced the mountains of Tyrol in such variety. Heinz ventured out in all seasons and at all times of day, often bivouacking on the highest peaks in summer and winter, to capture unique moments in artistic pictures.
In this presentation, Heinz showcases experiences for anyone who loves being in the
mountains. He takes us on the most beautiful hikes, to the most interesting summits, and shows us wonderful places where one can simply relax and unwind. From the deepest medieval mines to the highest peaks, everything is presented in the lecture. Peter Habeler and Horst Fankhauser climb the Olperer to celebrate its 70th anniversary, Bernhard Steidl and Andi Brunner navigate the most spectacular spots of the Ötztaler Ache, and with Christian Schartner and Gunnar Amor, we embark on the wildest canyoning tours.
Video sequences of canyoning, kayaking, via ferrata, and climbing are included, as well as meditative sequences of flowers, mountain lakes, the Great Ahornboden, and much more.
Tickets are available at www.ticket-regional.de starting November 2025.
