Expert guided tours (until 4 PM) at the block and lever system and in the tensioning room of the listed signal box from 1899 bring the railway history of Rheinhessen and the work of a pointsman to life. Visitors can "get hands-on" and operate switches and signal levers, discovering what a pointsman had to do to "let a train go."
