In 2013, the jury of experts awarded the VEM neck sleeve remover from Rink GmbH & Co KG (Kreuztal-Littfeld) the sustainability prize in the category Oenology.
The device allows the mechanical and thus time-saving removal of screw caps on wine bottles within a filling line. This will make the bottles reusable. This selection is intended as a sign for reusable packaging and also as an impetus for other equipment suppliers, eg label manufacturers.
