Route guidance

Starting at Mainz Winterhafen, the first destination is Nackenheim, the birthplace of Carl Zuckmayer. This is where the world of wine begins. Along the vineyard slopes of the Rheinterrasse with the famous vineyard "Roter Hang" you reach Nierstein, known for its Rieslings. Take the ferry to the Hessian side of the Rhine. Here are the Rhine dike the guideline. Slight rolls
It is there on well-developed dyke paths with beautiful views over the Rhine, on the Rhine islands and the vineyards of the Rhine terrace to Mainz. Whether fast or slow - that's what the wind decides. The arch connects to the Mainz winter harbor via a former railway bridge.

From the A60 (Mainzer Ring) take the B9 towards Mainz Innenstadt, continue on the L431 (Wormser Straße), keep right on Rheinstraße, turn right onto Dagobertstraße
