Our family-run winery is located in Dittelsheim-Hessloch, a wine-growing community in the southern Wonnegau. Currently we manage 10 hectares of vineyards, which spreads over the wine-growing communities Hessloch, Bechtheim, Alsheim and Guntersblum. Our most important vineyards include the Hesslocher Mondschein, Bechtheimer Hasensprung and Bechtheimer Stein. The limestone is the defining element of our vineyard soils. Our vines are rooted in this rock and later create distinctive, authentic wines. We understand our work in the vineyard...

Our winery, a family business, is located in the heart of Rheinhessen just below Petersberg. Over the year, the work in the vineyard is quality-oriented. This begins with pruning and goes to selective hand picking. The gentle development of the wines, the typical odours and flavours come to full advantage. With passion and commitment, we take care of all the work involved in the operation of winemaking. The aim of our winery is to satisfy our customers with an excellent quality.

We specialize in wines where you can taste the many sunshine, of which we have so much in Rheinhessen, and the grape that gives the wine its character - as natural as possible - taste it! On the estate only German is spoken.

Our winery is located in the south of Rheinhessen - in Wonnegau. The Wonnegau, originally Wangengau still from the 16th century derived from Vangions, then turned into Wonnegau. Gladly the name of the region - Wonnegau - with the bliss, which brings the life here, is justified. Our hometown Flörsheim-Dalsheim is known for its first-class wine and the most awarded wine-growing community worldwide. Our winery has been in Flörsheim-Dalsheim since 1665 and has been inherited from generation to generation. But not only the people...

Battenfeld Spanier is located in Hohen-Sülzen in the southern Wonnegau of Rheinhessen. There, the best vineyards are criss-crossed by mighty subterranean limestone beds, from which the vines can absorb the important nutrients with their roots during the warm summer months. It is this "lime buffer" that adds a tremendous amount of tension and vibration to the wines of Battenfeld-Spanier. For HO Spanier, the Riesling is like the ideal interpreter, who translates the extremely lime-rich soils of southern Wonnegaus into...

For dinner, for the special occasion or on an ordinary day, a good wine should never be missing. But where should it come from and for a fair price. With care and great commitment, we cultivate the vineyards and produce our wines as a sideline. The result are wines that the winemaker himself likes to taste and enjoy in-house. This way a successful product comes into the bottle and is sold. At the same time it offers us the opportunity to try out something new. The classics "Grauer Burgunder" (Pinot Gris)...
