Cycle rest area located directly on the Barbarossa Route, invites you to take a breather and rest on the last section of the stage to Worms. At certatin times, the site is staffed with a wine stand.

Since 1987 the wine bar is open. The winemakers mission is to cosset their guests with their wines as well as fine and exquisite food. Wine tastings are held by appointment any time with 10 persons or more. Among the wines you will receive technical comments. Rooms are available for family gatherings and group trips. Upon request you are offered different menus and buffets.

The winery stands on historical ground and soil. In the middle ages there was a castle in immediate proximity. According to stories it was the local domicile of knight Hundt, the present landmark of Saulheim. The garden of the castle at that time was situated under today's winery walls.
