Winery Weber has always been a family business. Founded in 1938, the winery is now run by the 3rd generation. The estate's own wines can be tasted during a wine tasting. Our winery is located on the outskirts of Ober-Ingelheim, surrounded by vineyards with a view of the beautiful castle church. For generations, we have enjoyed our profession and work with great care in the vineyard and cellar. A wine tasting in the extensive garden and a picnic to bring along round off the enjoyment. The history of the Georg Albrecht Schneider winery dates back to the 18th century. The winery has been practising organic viticulture since 1978. The Schmitt family was one of the first winegrowers in Germany to take the concept of sustainability seriously and completely abandon the use of synthetic chemical fertilisers and sprays. They were co-founders of ECOVIN, the Federal Association of Organic Viticulture. The vaulted cellar dating back to 1865 is spanned by two stone arches. The logo of our winery shows them as a symbol of our winemaking tradition.
