The wine-growing community of Bodenheim, the gateway to the Rhine Terrace, is only a few minutes' drive from Mainz. Situated above Bodenheim on the outskirts of the village, the Gauer winery - Potsdamer Hof - is home. From here, visitors have a magnificent view of the vineyard hills, the Rhine valley and the Taunus. The wine tavern is a popular destination for hikers and cyclists. The first Göhring's wine sweep season took place in autumn 2017. Wine plays a major role here, but small, seasonally varying dishes, all of which are prepared in-house, are not missing either. The Saumagen burger and the curry sausage with homemade sauce have taken a permanent place. Göhring's Weinkehr is easily accessible via the B 271 in Flörsheim-Dalsheim.

The vinomat of the winery Sommer is located directly at the winery in Siefersheim. All wines are organic and vegan. The range includes white wine, spritzers, grape juice and sparkling wine. In winter you can find, red wines and the mulled wine in the vending machine. The qualities range from the site wines of the Heerkretz and the Höllberg to the local wines. As a small tasting for on the way spelt pretzels and cheese sticks are offered.

The Vinomat is located at the Münzenberger winery at the beautiful Lindenplatz in Zornheim and is easily accessible. The Lindenplatz is also one of the starting points of the Hiwweltour Zornheimer Berg (via a side path). The wines offered focus on Riesling and wines from the Burgundy family.
