The history of the Georg Albrecht Schneider winery dates back to the 18th century. The Saalwächter Winery belongs to Ingelheim like the Imperial Palace and Pinot Noir. As early as 1853, Paul Christian Saalwächter laid the foundation for today's winery as mayor. Then as now, we are particularly enthusiastic about the Burgundy varieties from the lime-rich Ingelheim sites as well as our counterpart from the slate slopes in Assmannshausen.
