Galakonzert der Rheinhessischen Bläserphilharmonie

The Rheinhessische Bläserphilharmonie, conducted by Stefan Grefig, presents in its gala concert works that engage with space and the cosmos in very different ways. The award-winning composition "Echoes of San Marco" by Johan de Meij impresses with Venetian polyphony and echo effects. The moving work "Music of the Spheres" by Philip Sparke is dedicated to the universe and spans the arc from the Big Bang to an unknown future. To conclude the concert, Franco Cesarini’s "Poema Alpestre" takes one into a majestic mountain world shaped by the forces of nature, while revealing a divine tranquility.
