Every year, we strive to produce authentic wines with a distinctive character. With a focus on the traditional and local grape varieties Riesling, Silvaner and Pinot Noir. In our opinion, the goal of winemaking is to create optimal conditions in the vineyard so that as little intervention as possible is needed later in the wine. Wine tastings are possible from 4 to 15 people.
The Saalwächter Winery belongs to Ingelheim like the Imperial Palace and Pinot Noir. As early as 1853, Paul Christian Saalwächter laid the foundation for today's winery as mayor. Then as now, we are particularly enthusiastic about the Burgundy varieties from the lime-rich Ingelheim sites as well as our counterpart from the slate slopes in Assmannshausen.
