We offer various white, rosé and red wines as well as secco, grape juice and wine spritzer. These can be enjoyed directly at our winery on one of the comfortable seating areas or taken home.
The winery has been practising organic viticulture since 1978. The Schmitt family was one of the first winegrowers in Germany to take the concept of sustainability seriously and completely abandon the use of synthetic chemical fertilisers and sprays. They were co-founders of ECOVIN, the Federal Association of Organic Viticulture. The vaulted cellar dating back to 1865 is spanned by two stone arches. The logo of our winery shows them as a symbol of our winemaking tradition.
Here on the Roter Hang, we, Thore and Werner, are deeply rooted—just like our vines. Our family has been growing wine since the 19th century. Working in the vineyard and wine cellar, facing the challenges of nature, producing wines full of character—we put our heart and soul into this craft. The winery at the Malakoff Tower. Wine farm festival at Whitsun, wine tasting days in April and November. Award-winning red and white wines, sparkling wines, brandies, liqueurs, jelly, mustard, pasta and gift ideas all about wine. Wine tastings are available for up to 60 people. In the cozy wine tavern, guests can enjoy a glass of the house's own white or red wines. The offer is complemented by a small selection of hearty dishes as well as weekly changing specials. In the rustic wine room, there is plenty of space for everyone – of course, also for families with children. Dogs are also warmly welcomed, on a leash. Guests are also happily greeted here for a wine tasting.

We, the Wasem Doppelstück winery, focus on quality, femininity, craftsmanship and, above all, the idea of sustainability. That is why we are converting our farm to organic by 2022. In the romantic Neu-Bamberg directly at the idyllic Appelbach stands the wine-o-mat of the Baumgärtner family "winery Hesselborner Mühle". A wide assortment is always cooled to the choice of the hiking friends. By cash payment and with 18 + proof of age can be purchased with pleasure. Some seating also allows a pleasant rest.
