The weekly market in Eimsheim offers a great selection. Every two Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, you can shop for delicatessen, meat and sausages, coffee, vegetables, spices, and other great items. A vinotheque with wines from Worms vintners, in the heart of Worms city centre near the Luther Monument for tourists and locals - that's what was missing in the wine city of Worms. In the historic building of the former tourist office, which built the two cottages for tourist purposes in 1925, the fruits of Worms' vineyards can now be tasted in liquid form. The focus of the wide range of grape juices is on white wines, but Blanc de Noir, Rosé and red wines are also not missing from the assortment.
Sebastian Baum, with the support of his family, is the fourth generation to run the winery, which was founded in 1928. In 2013, he was awarded best young winemaker in theory and practice. In addition to his first-class expertise, a lot of love and passion go into his products. The vinotheque, built in the old cowshed in a modern, rustic style, invites you to taste. The winery stands on historical ground and soil. In the middle ages there was a castle in immediate proximity. According to stories it was the local domicile of knight Hundt, the present landmark of Saulheim. The garden of the castle at that time was situated under today's winery walls.
