Since 1987 the wine bar is open. The winemakers mission is to cosset their guests with their wines as well as fine and exquisite food. Wine tastings are held by appointment any time with 10 persons or more. Among the wines you will receive technical comments. Rooms are available for family gatherings and group trips. Upon request you are offered different menus and buffets.
The "Römer" is one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in Rheinhessen. Built around 1690, after its complete renovation it houses the wine bar and a small hotel with a very personal atmosphere. In the wood-panelled wine bar, guests enjoy local wines and good regional cuisine. In the heart of Alzey, on the Roßmarkt, the "Römer" invites you to the join the locals and enjoy typical specialities. The Römer offers the right premises for family and company celebrations, but also for business appointments.
In the listed Engelthal Monastery (Kloster Engelthal) we have created a world of experience around wine. A modern vinotheque offers you the opportunity to get to know and buy our wines. The wine tavern "Zur Dutt" is located in a cosy courtyard in the old centre of the wine-growing community of Bodenheim. Here, the Duttenhöfer winery's own wines and Rhine-Hessian delicacies can be tasted with uncomplicated Rhine-Hessian hospitality.
