Vino e Gusto

For their concept, Stella and Albano traveled to the Amalfi Coast. They returned with colorful ceramics, herb gardens, and a clear idea: to bring the UNESCO World Heritage of Italian cuisine to Alzey. The tomato sauce is made exclusively from hand-pressed Strianese San Marzano tomatoes. The pizza dough rests for 48 hours. Many pasta varieties are created daily by hand — using Mancini pasta and semolina from Gargnano.

Feel free to try all our organic wines in our wine shop and enjoy the sunshine in the large old estate yard. For more than four hundred years, our family has been cultivating wine in Essenheim. Our vines grow on the southern slopes of the Selztal. Our old courtyard breathes the spirit of this tradition between half-timbered houses and limestone.
