As a winemaker family in the fourth generation, we enjoy living, working and laughing together. That's us, three generations under one roof: the Müller family. We always want to get a little better; We are fascinated by the aromas and peculiarity of each grape variety. Sharing, sowing and harvesting a passion is a wonderful thing. But the challenge of creating wines of the highest order with heart, flair and dedication is a blessing that accompanies us every day. English speaking visitors are welcome.
Our winery is located in the small community Hochborn with only 500 inhabitants, located in the south of the Rheinhessen hill country. From there, we cultivate vineyards in the best locations of the surrounding districts Westhofen, Gundersheim, Monzernheim, Bechtheim and Eppelsheimon a 290 meter high plateau. With our winery in the Wahlheim we can look back on a long tradition. Even today we run the winery as a family business. We, that is winemaker Volker Oswald and his wife Cornelia and nephew Simon Müller-Oswald, who will take over the winery after his degree in viticulture and oenology in a few years. Our family business is located in Hochborn, a small village, which is about 280 m above sea level to the highest municipalities of Rheinhessen.
