Oenological competence has found a home here, in the heart of the old town, since 1702. Experience leads to action. Dahlem wines always convince as reliable ambassadors of Rheinhessen. Over 300 years of winegrowing in the family is not a privilege, but a challenge. Axel and Frank Dahlem, both graduate engineers, today run the renowned family business. Tradition also means being open to the new. Innovative cellar technology works well with classic grape varieties. Continuing education does not mean forgetting the tried and tested. In...

Gault Millau 2013: "One of the most exciting newcomers in the entire Wonnegau. Karl May and his sons Peter and Fritz farm 21 hectares. It is their merit to make Osthofen more socially acceptable. Wines such as the red - and now also white - blood brother are just really good stuff: clear label, contemporary address, a content that is a lot of fun. That the May brothers dominate the art of cuvée, shows the red "Der Alte Fritz". The basic wines are a real bank, the Pinot Gris "Goldgeyer" tastes creamy and...

We are a small family-run winery in the beautiful village Pfeddersheim, located west of Worms in Wonnegau. Since 2007 we have been managing our vineyards according to organic guidelines. True to our motto: In nature, with nature, for nature. On the estate only German is spoken.

The winery Blümel in Magdalenenhof has been owned by the family since 1616 and manages 9.8 hectares of vineyards in the best and oldest vineyard locations in and around Osthofen. Traditional and modern winemaking in harmony with nature provide excellent qualities. This is reflected in the reviews of the wine guides Gault Millau and Eichelmann. Since 2008, organic spirits from their own distillery have extended the product range. Also as a supporting member of Slow Food, the winery Blümel stands for enjoyment and quality.

We are managing the Margaretenhof winery in the 5th generation already. With us everything is "handmade", as a typical family business we carry out all work from pruning to bottling ourselves - we know all our vines "personally". The production of healthy, fully ripe grapes with moderate yield, gentle grape processing and a restrained fermentation guarantee maximum enjoyment. In 2015 we celebrated the anniversary 50 years of bottled wine and direct marketing of this tradition we feel obliged. Like a...
