The Schätzel family lives and works on Selzen Kapellenhof in the 4th and 5th generation. The vineyards are located on the sunny south and west slopes of Selztal. We are a two-generation Rheinhessen winegrower family from Siefersheim, in the heart of the largest wine-growing region in Germany. The production focuses mainly on traditional grape varieties such as Riesling and Pinot. In addition to viticulture we have some agriculture, run a nursery for typical Rheinhessen vines and enrich the surrounding weekly markets with our agricultural products.
