The estate is located in the historic center of Westhofen by the market place. Katharina Wechsler and her family cultivate 17 hectares of vineyards in Westhofen in locations such as the Steingrube, Kirchspiel and Morstein. The grape varieties include Riesling, Silvaner and Scheurebe. English and French speaking visitors are welcome.

The Wittmann winery is one of the leading estates in the Rheinhessen region. In addition to Riesling as the main grape variety, the Pinots and Silvaner are of particular importance in the winery. Through biodynamic cultivation, intensive vineyard maintenance and traditional wine making wines are made with their own character, great terroir and high quality. The VDP.Grosse Lage are MORSTEIN, BRUNNENHÄUSCHEN, KIRCHSPIEL and AULERDE. The winery is a member of the VDP - The Prädikatsweingüter.

GUTER WEIN ROCKT! Deshalb zaubern wir aus unseren Trauben, viel Liebe, Leidenschaft und Rock'n Roll unsere tollen Weine. Wir füllen sozusagen unser gepresstes Herzblut in Flaschen ab! Unser Weingut liegt im kleinen, aber feinen Ort Gundheim im schönen Rheinhessen. Als Familie, besser gesagt als Ehepaar, rocken wir zu zweit das Winzer-Dasein, bewirtschaften ca. 11 Hektar und bringen unser Weingut mit neuen Ideen immer weiter voran.
