Welcome to our 4-generation winery! You will find us in the center of Wörrstadt, a wine-growing community in the heart of Rheinhessen - known for its sunny climate and the almost ideal wine-growing conditions. As a traditional family company, we have specialized in the cultivation and vinification of top-quality wines. We also offer comfortable guest rooms as well as events all around wine, like wine tastings or winery parties. We are happy to provide you with our new vinotheque or our barn for your celebration....
The Bürgermeiser Adam Schmitt winery is located in the tranquil Mommenheim in the middle of Rheinhessen. The 11 hectares of vineyards have been cultivated ecologically since 1996. Much emphasis is placed on careful processing in the vineyard and in the cellar. Most of the wines are fermented spontaneously and aged “sur lie”. In 1952, the winery was founded by Helmut Weber in Gau-Algesheim. Since 1995, the company has been in the hands of winemaker Hermann Weber and his wife Martina. Since then a lot has happened.
