Wir sind bereits seit neun Generationen in Monzernheim verwurzelt. Aktuell arbeiten, leben und lieben drei Generationen auf dem Hof. Die ältere Generation, Helmut und Brunhild, sowie die jüngere Generation Andreas und Julia mit den Söhnen Jonas und Anton. Jeder trägt mi seinen Stärken und Fähigkeiten dazu bei, dass der Familienbetrieb läuft. Viele unserer zehn Hektar Weinberge in Monzernheim, Westhofen und Bechtheim sind terrassiert. Since 1992, Ursula and Tilo Hochthurn have been managing the Mediterranean-style winery Gerharz-Hochthurn in Gau-Algesheim. The modern-oriented farm now manages about 20 ha of vineyards in the fourth generation. The vines grow in Gau-Algesheim, Ingelheim and Horrweiler. Due to the lime-rich, deep soils and slopes, a variety of wines in terms of minerality and aromas is possible. Tilo Hochthurn proudly presents his convincing Rieslings and Pinots. W are rather unique and we know what we want. Our wines are for explorers, for the curious, for gourmets and for all those who defend their personal taste. We make wine, we leave the cooking to the chefs. We stand for cooperation in our region. We do not have any gastronomy, because we are convinced that chefs are much better at cooking than we are.
