The Schmitz winery - Hof am Teuerborn is located outside of Nackenheim on the road to Lörzweiler. Since the eighties, it has turned from a pure arable farm into a winery cultivating 16ha in Nackenheim, Nierstein and Schwabsburg. Producing high-quality wines is the claim of Berthold and Christiane Schmitz. Son Dominic is in training as a winegrower, currently at Knipser in Laumersheim. Winery Sander
Our wines are fun and reflect their origin. The vines grow in Dittelsheim in Pfaffenmütze, Leckerberg and Geiersberg. Our focus is on the white grape varieties: Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot, Sauvignon Blanc. A true family business, the winery is managed by Uwe and Ingrid Spies. For the wines, their son David Spies, 2011 Europe's best winemaker apprentice, is responsible.
The Seck winery is located in the wine village Dolgesheim. In Dolgesheim wine-growing tradition has been existing for more than 1200 years. Until 2010, the winery was expanded further with new marketing rooms and guest rooms. Three generations work in the winery: Claudia and Axel, the children Alicia, Jakob and Georg, as well as the grandparents Ida and Klaus Seck. We cultivate 17 hectares of vineyards according to ecological guidelines and are members of Naturland.
Our winery is located in the wine town of Osthofen, in the middle of Wonnegau, very close to the historic Nibelung town of Worms.
